A beautiful day.

First snow.Cold ,but beautiful.

Approaching the Hardanger-fjord wich is one of Norway's longest fjords.

Rosendal and my home-village Seimsfoss ahead.

Evening temper. Sun is going down behind the island Stord.

Rosendal. In the middle is the mountain Melderskin, one of the highest in the area raging 4679 feet above the sea.

The valley Omvikdal were I have my local airfield when using wheels.

Flying among clouds over Skaalafjell. Can life be better?

This is Bondhusdalen, a valley at the end of the Mauranger-fjord. Behind the frozen lake you can spot Bondhusbreen wich is an arm of the glacier, Folgefonna.

This is the Maurangerfjord. It is an arm in the outher section of the Hardangerfjord.

Austrepollen is a narrow village ,squeezed between high mountains at the very end of the Maurangerfjord.

Flying "on top" in Myrdal. The mountain in the horizon is Gygrastolen, 4393feet above sealevel.

Mountainflying. At this day the airtemperature at 4000feet was -20 deg.celsius.

Ulvanosi. An extreeme mountain, popular among climbers. It,s 4088feet high.

The edge of the glacier to the left. Pretty wild scenery.

Here is the top of Bondhusbreen, a part of the glacier that hurls it's way down to the valley.

Flying along the glacier. An enormous quantity of ice and snow. The top is at 5453 feet.

Bondhusdalen again. In the horizon you can see the glacier Folgefonna.

The Maurangerfjord. This is the part were it falls together with it's big brother, the Hardangerfjord.

This is the long walley Enesdalen, surrounded by our local alps.

Mannsvatnet is a small mountain lake wich is frozen at wintertime. This is a popular area for skiing.

This is Sundal.The glacier in the end of the walley is Bondhusbreen.
